League Rules

· Team colours to be worn, shorts socks and shin pads MUST be worn, goalkeeper (only) may wear trousers.
· 6-a-side, match day squad of no more than 9.
· Players can only play for one team.
· Match starts with kick off from centre spot.
· After a goal is scored play restarts from the centre spot.
· Goalkeeper must roll the ball out, under arm, board height.
· An outfield player receiving the ball from the goalkeeper cannot play it straight back, 2 outfield players must touch the ball first, an indirect free kick will be awarded.
· If the goalkeeper comes out of the ‘D’ voluntarily, a penalty will be rewarded. If momentum from a block/save takes the keeper out of the ‘D’ play will continue.
· If a defender goes into the ‘D’ voluntarily a penalty will be given.
· If the attacker goes into the ‘D’ voluntarily play will restart from the goalkeeper.
· When a direct free kick is given, and defenders must stand 3 metres from the ball.
· Rolling Substitutions: ball must be dead or in goal keepers’ hands and referee is to be informed.
· Games will kick off with a minimum of 4 players.
· A penalty kick is awarded against a team which commits any of the offences for which a direct free kick is awarded inside its own penalty area.
· The referee must be informed before the change is made. The change may only be made during a stoppage in play.
· There is no offside.
· ‘Crowding’ in the corners will result in the ball going back to the goalkeeper.
· No holding onto the boards or nets.
· If a player continuously provides serious foul play, dissent or abuse to any person including the referee, opposition and staff they can be removed from the league with immediate effect

Yellow Card
·A player is shown a yellow card and temporarily excluded from play if he commits any of the following offences:
·Is guilty of unsporting behaviour, shows dissent by word or action.
·Persistently infringes the Laws of the Game, delays the restart of play, fails to respect the required distance when play is restarted with a kick-in, free kick or goal clearance.
·Going to ground in any form as an outfield player will result in a free kick (sliding/lunging)
·Enters or re-enters the pitch without the referee’s permission or infringes the substitution procedure, deliberately leaves the pitch without the referee’s permission.
·Dissent.

Red Card
A red card offence will result in the player leaving the field of play and will be ineligible for the next league match.
·A player is sent off and shown the red card if he commits any of the following offences:
·Is guilty of serious foul play, is guilty of violent conduct, spits at an opponent or any other person.
·Denies the opposing team a goal or an obvious goal-scoring opportunity by deliberately handling the ball (this does not apply to a goalkeeper within his own penalty area).
·Denies an obvious goal-scoring opportunity to an opponent moving towards the player’s goal by an offence punishable by a free kick or a penalty kick.
·Uses offensive, insulting or abusive language.
·If a player receives a second yellow in the same match.
·Dangerous play (sandwiching/slamming against board) around the perimeter boards will result in instant dismissal.
